I love targeted property destruction. First of all, let's not pretend it's violence. If it were, people would get hurt. Targeted property destruction, or as I like to call it, "smashy-smashy" hurts nobody. Maybe financially, but that's sorta part of the point anyways. Targeted property destruction is non-violence. Nobody gets hurt.
The streets look more honest when the windows are smashed out.
Why? Because although there is no amount of smashy that can stand on par with the violence of the State and violence of the Corporation (where people DO get hurt, by the millions, every day), the smashed out windows show the weakness of the state - how it hangs by a thin thread of complicity, and reflects the battered nature of The People as well as the potential for the rising of the People to take this revolution seriously.
The State kills people every day. Our soldiers do it abroad, and the law does it here.
By the way, a State only has the criminals it deserves.
We deserved 9/11, even if the State seriously had no idea that it was coming, because through our meddling we turned a wealthy, cultured Afghanistan into turmoil by arming the tribal warlords and turning them on each other, what ensued eventually gave birth to the Taliban. They were right to hate us. They attacked citizens, civilians, because they believed we were complicit in the destruction of their country. Of course we were complicit - I don't recall The People saying "Boo" to the idea of destroying a country from the inside out.
We deserve our murderers. Our robbers. Our hackers. Addicts. Bath-salt zombies. They are the manifestation of the white heads on the pimples of Ass-erica. But it's okay, because the State will sort them out. The State will take from them their freedom, their liberty, and imprison them. Many of them, the State will kill. Those that survive will jump of the line having lost their soul - like every other man or woman who has been without liberty for so long will have lost themselves.
The State will take your babies on suspicion, hand them to a pedophile, serial killer, child-beater... and fight you in favor of the notion that the State never makes a mistake. I pity all the children of foster care who have paid for the folly of the State by blood or psychological trauma. Some, for both.
The Corporations worship capitalism... not humanity. They have employed slave labor abroad. They have sold out American jobs to the lowest bidder. They have causes hundreds, perhaps thousands of years of ecological damage with clear-cuts, burn-outs, oil leaks, net-dragging, and not to even mention that all their machines have caused global warming. If you don't believe the horror stories of global warming, then perhaps take a look at "Acid Test" by the National Resources Defence Council. We are doing a damn good job at acidifying our ocean... making life inhospitable below the blue. The water is now dissolving shells... and in other places, the nutrients in pollution are creating massive dead-zones - which are only expanding.
Children are dying all over the globe because half the globe cares more for profit than it does about poverty and hunger, and would rather ship its islands of waste, especially plastic waste to the third world than worry about what's biodegradable, and what degrades the biosphere.
For every addict who dies of an overdose. For every man, woman, child who dies because of the the Corporations put in them. For everyone who has been worked to the death in toil. For every senseless death caused by the negligence of the State workers and public services who pay homage to the subsidies of their masters. For every human who has been outcast as psychologically damaged, a danger, who's worst crime was admitting damage by others, by the State. For every human incarcerated, now living as an often soulless shell, having been deprived their inalienable right to freedom and liberty, victims of the State and culture which have caused the thought-crime of criminality versus a united solidarity and generosity which can now only be found among the revolutionaries, anarchists, and communists vieing for a free-er future where humankind works as one. For the women of the Triangle Shirtwaist Company, locked in at all times to prevent worker theft, even so should their entrapment serve to be their entombment during a fire which killed the majority.
You wonder what use property destruction has. You wonder why we do it. It's because we're seeing the full picture. When I smash something, I'm watching 20 women on fire jumping from the Triangle factory to their death, to escape being burned alive. In embers, I can see and feel the pain the State and Corporations have caused. I strike those who have engaged in deliberate complicity. You know of our war crimes and you do what? Sell the fruits of child slave labor? It is time for you to burn. You could only get away from this for so long.
Targeted property destruction, political violence, only exists to excise the cancer of oppression, the State, of capitalism, and of true terror. True terror isn't worrying about some city being attacked by terrorists. True terror is realizing that your freedom and liberty are a privilege under the State... and unless you are prepared to die to keep it, it can and will be taken from you. I can think of no worse fate but to be separated from freedom.
The law and legal system are stacked against us. The media is as well. The executive branch forces compliance under the guise of progressiveness. The legislators sign away our freedoms in quaint bills.
If you believe so much that the State and corporations are innocent, that a smashed window is a crime, that anyone who fights authorities, no matter the reason, should be jailed with the whole lot... you are a weak minded fool. I pray that changes before you eat your ideology for breakfast under the barrel of a State-owned rifle. Embrace your dictators more often. I'm sure it is good for your health to accept and comply, bow and worship. God and Jesus love the complicit. Go have the time of your life.
